Setoda is located on Ikuchijima, the third island in the Seto Inland Sea, in Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, which is one of Japan's leading lemon-producing areas. Here, we use some of the few pesticide-free lemons from Setoda, along with chocolate, organic cocoa powder, and cacao nibs to create a rich chocolate lemon cake. This cake features an ultra-moist texture, avoiding the dryness often found in baked goods. Additionally, we use Kikaijima's cane sugar and organic brown rice syrup made from domestically sourced organic rice, as well as organic baking powder that contains no calcium phosphate or aluminum.
